In Mindy's Restaurant on Broadway some of Damon Runyon's most colourful 'guys and dolls' struggle to make a little green parrot - the only witness to a baffling high society murder - reveal the identity of the hitman or femme fatale 'whodunit!'

Lesley Langley as the mysterious Woman in Black, a lady with a surprising secret.
