In November 2004, Next Stage moved into its new permanent home -- a dedicated 100-seat auditorium for theatre in the round which we have named "The Mission Theatre".  The structure is a 200-year old Grade 2 listed building that in former times was a congregational chapel.  It has subsequently undergone a major programme of work to convert it into a multi-purpose arts centre, comprising the main auditorium and, above, a bistro and smaller performance space called "The Theatre Upstairs"

Next Stage Theatre Company have also performed at the Minack Theatre.
The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, Cornwall is the most famous cliff theatre in Britain, possibly in the world.  From an actor's point of view, it is certainly one of the most exciting experiences possible.  But being a spectator is just as amazing.  Audiences return again and again to be captivated by the drama of the cliffs and sea, and the human dramas unfolding before them.

Next Stage made its first appearance at the Minack Theatre in June 1998 with a production of Alan Ayckbourn's 'Sisterly Feelings'.  Subsequent productions include Peter Shaffer's seminal The Royal Hunt of the Sun (Aug 2001) and Christopher Hampton's Les Liaisons Dangereuses (July 2003) and Sir Alan Ayckbourn's The Champion of Paribanou (Aug 2005). The most recent production was Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials Part 1 & 2 presented in August 2007.
