This classic Ayckbourn from the 1970’s is a hilarious romp through bedrooms, relationships and DIY. It is possibly one of the funniest of our patron’s plays blending his characteristically incisive observation of human relationships, desires and prevarications with a fast-paced storyline in which marriages threaten to collapse as fast as the furniture!

The experienced and talented members of the Next Stage cast - headed by George Gent and Joanna Bowman - are experienced and renowned for their previous fine interpretations of Ayckbourn’s plays and can’t wait to bring to The Mission Theatre this great pre-festive treat.
